As the administrator I would like to welcome all of our players,friends and fans to the Nickel Fastball Domain as of today Monday July the 13th , 2009.We are well into our regular seasson since late May and have started the second half today.

    The Parry Island Hawks continue to lead the pack having collected their 8th victory tonight in stopping the Athletics four game unbeaten streak.In the first game played out of the Rick McDonald Memorial Park in Azilda  , the Pickerel River Cardinals and the Garson Hounds played to a 7 all draw and both remain 2nd and 3rd respectively in the standings.

     Over the past weekend three of our teasms participsted in the prestigeous 35th annual Huntsville Men's Fastball Tournament. Our boys did not come away with any purse money or division championships but made a good account of themselves . The Cardinals lost all three of their round robin games 6-2,10-9(heartbreaker) and 9-1 to finish out of the elite 16 who advanced to the playoff round. Both the Parry Island Hawks who seeded 11th and the J.C./Dog House North Stars who seeded 7th advanced to the playoff round on Sunday. The Hawks lost their semi final in C division 6 to 2 while the North Stars lost a 3-2 heartbreaker in their B division semi final.
