      This year will be the fourth annual all-star game extravaganza . The first one in 2006 was held at the Terry Fox`Sports Complex with the home crew of the Rick McDonald Memporial Fastball League having the bbetter of the North Shore league with an exciting 7-6 victory in 9 innings before a very large crowd.It was called the sunny game.

       In 2007 , at the second annual, some 40 legends of fastball from the 50's,60's,70's and 80's were honored for their contribution to fastball . The game was held at the Hanmer ball field and once more the home crew came out on top 6-5 over the North Shore. It was not very warm and therefgore was called the chilly game.

       Last year we had a change of venue as we travelled to Elliot Lake and were the visitors .The game because of inclimate wheather was called after five innings of play and was recorded as a 5-5 tie.

       This year the fourth annual , the game returns to Greater Sudbury and will be held in Capreol where once fastball thrived. The game is set for Saturday September the 12th starting at 3 PM on field # 1 .
