    This year is the 4th annual Northern Ontario Fastball Championships . The site is still the Rick McDonald Memorial Park out of Azilda. The tournament will be held from August 21st to 23rd . As an added  attraction this year ,we will  pecial guests to help us throw out the first ceremonial pitch on Friday night. Brad Ringuette after who we've now renamed this tournament after in honor of his many years of playing , his contribution to fastball and his now courageous battle with pancreatic and liver cancer wil;l be withy us as well as ASA Hall of Famer and former 60's pitcher in Sudbury , Metro Szeryk . It should be an exciting evening with former players like Rick Petryna,Gerry "Push" Gauthier , Jim Cappadocia ... and officials like Wayne Cambell and Don Prescott in attendance.All teams desiring to enter are reminded once more of these two impotant dates: a cheque for $100 non refundable must be in by no later than Wednesday August the 5th ; the remaining $280 including the full team roster must be in by no later than the deadline of Friday August the 14th.All cheques are to be made out to Northern Ontario Fastball Championship.
